Where the name came from:

Satya’ is the sanskrit name for truth, or authenticity. When we speak, act, and live TRUTH; when we are authentic; we are not only happier and more at peace with ourselves, but we attract real people into our lives that are meant to be there. My hope is to create a space where everyone who comes to Satya Yoga can let go, be themselves, re-discover their authenticity. Or it can just be as simple as learning the basics of yoga so you can know how to feel at peace and get a good work out.

My individual courses will be different, but all centered on holistically improving your well-being whether that is physical, mental, emotional health, or all three.

I cannot wait to meet you. Welcome to Satya Yoga.

Namaste :) . I’m JaNae. I officially started teaching yoga in July 2019 after graduation from a yoga teacher training program in Salt Lake City, UT. A few years before that, I had just started teaching my roommates for fun. I knew this is what I wanted to do after taking a couple yoga classes at college. I connected with it so quickly, and just wanted more. I started Satya Yoga in 2019 after I completed my training. I’ve had multiple visions of what Satya Yoga can/will be. It started out as private yoga lessons for beginners in my studio at home. I hope to have a studio/wellness studio one day, but for now it has evolved into a platform that I can launch my online yoga programs from. I plan on launching one every couple of years as I gain more knowledge and training. The world needs yoga in so many ways. There are so many ways we can heal ourselves naturally without relying on external resources. Breathing, meditating, eating whole/nutritious foods, and moving our bodies daily is the recipe for a holistic healing journey. Let me provide the tools and space necessary for that change.
